Graphics Card

This might have been a straight forward first in what to look for when buying a device for Gaming. And well if you did not know, a Graphics Card is the component of your hardware that lets the PC run all these graphics-intensive games with ease. And so, for a Gaming Laptop this is the most necessary component.

Though as this list is for all Budget Gaming Laptops under 700, this part of the device is mostly compromised as new and good graphic cards end up being really expensive.

We would recommend that you, as a Minimum, “GeForce MX350”

Processor

The next thing in line is the Processor for your Laptop. This is the brains of the computer. And so you would need to have a good one so that you can game with ease and comfort.

We would recommend that you either go for a 9^th or 10^th Generation processor as those are pretty recent ones. And in these generations, a minimum of an Intel i5 or a comparatively same one. These will have enough power in them that when they are partnered up with a Graphics Card, you will be able to play mostly all the games you want.

RAM

Next up, we have the RAM. This is the part of the hardware that will house all the current information that the hardware is processing. The more RAM you have, the easier it will be for you to multi task as well as play heavy games. And so, we would recommend that you go for a RAM that is at least 8GBs.

But if you find a product that you like and one that has 4GBs of RAM, you can upgrade this part in the future or as you buy it.

Display

Once you have the processing power up and running, the next thing you need to look out for is your Display. Again, as these are budget laptops and that too under 700 dollars, we would suggest to not have hopes for anything 4K. But still as these are Gaming devices, we would recommend to look for displays that are at least Full HD and other than that offer you anything 60 Hertz or above.

Ideally for Displays, do not go below these specifications. As anything that is not this would end up hindering and messing with your experience. But if you can find anything that gives you a high refresh rate for the display or a higher resolution, that would be a dream  come true.

Hard Drive

This is the part of your Laptop that houses all the information. For Hard Drives, you have two different options. HDDs and SDDs. HDDS are slower but these are inexpensive. And so with this storage, you can get a higher storage as much as 1TB while not going over budget.

SSDs on the other hand, are the faster of the two Hard Drives. If you opt for this one, you get a faster storage but you lose some Hard Drive space as this is the expensive option out of the two.

For Gaming you would need to choose yourself which do you prefer. More speed for things to load quickly or more space for you to save more games with you. Though nowadays with how large games are getting, if you get a smaller storage, you might just be able to get 1 or 2 games.

For our recommendation, if you do go for a HDD, go for 1TB at least. While for SSDs 512GBs would be good while 256GBs would do the job for a bit too.

This isn’t much of a stress point though as there are multiple options for you to upgrade this component. As you can get external Hard Drives or just get more internally.
